I would pay $750.

I don't care about the irremovable battery, as long as it's sufficiently powerful to get me 4 or 5 hours of light use. And once the battery goes (in about 2 or 3 years), it will probably be time for a new netbook. Of course, it is an Eee. People will find an easy way to replace the cells if need be.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33183441.post-79321642259580540462009-02-22T05:50:00.000-08:002009-02-22T05:50:00.000-08:00Having the working SIM slot would be nice. The bat...Having the working SIM slot would be nice. The battery could easily be removable. I don't buy for a minute that that is something cost related. A friend of mine has a 15.4" laptop from ASUS that has a small brick battery that is about the size of a pack of cards, maybe almost as thick. No reason that cost should be an issue if her older ASUS model can already have something similar.

The CPU also seems to be a bit of a waste. But then, I suppose if it is faster than the 900 MHz Celeron that is in my 900, then fabulous. But I don't know ...

Here's hoping it's also a nice and speedy SSD and perhaps even an easily replaceable model???Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14768290062988247922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33183441.post-71482325963405632652009-02-20T14:57:00.000-08:002009-02-20T14:57:00.000-08:00It is awesome. Touchscreen, tablet, 3g, chiclet keyboard (hope that one is true). But i don't understand the cpu choice. It would be totaly possible to put in a higher clocked one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33183441.post-86958311835811213812009-02-20T12:57:00.000-08:002009-02-20T12:57:00.000-08:00lollolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33183441.post-40428860779757486562009-02-20T11:32:00.000-08:002009-02-20T11:32:00.000-08:00Was that Cliff richard in the video? Was that Cliff richard in the video?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33183441.post-70939725897892629632009-02-20T08:22:00.000-08:002009-02-20T08:22:00.000-08:00The battery should last for at least 8 hours.
