Click to see the video Thanks Joe
haha screws over srews, i did it 4 times on my asus 900´s devices i wont do it anymore, just wait for t91 or t101 or may a gigabyte? ;-)but nice videos of course fun to see.
Is it safe to assume that add-on is resistive? I really want a netbook with a multitouch screen, specifically for this: http://www.najle.com/idaft/
Where can I get this screen kit?
take a look at ebayhttp://cgi.ebay.com/10-2-SOLDERLESS-TOUCH-SCREEN-KIT-FOR-EEE-PC-1000HE_W0QQitemZ310129483347QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLaptops_Nov05?hash=item310129483347&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
Anyone think that it's possible to also build in a hinge, and get a super-duper T101 type device?
haha may ask jkk but i dont think so ;-) but good idea
It would be really hard to put swivel hinge to any Eee PC... The main problem is that the hinge would need to be where the battery is.It would be easier with a netbook that has thin battery on the center/bottom of it..
Yea.. The swivel idea's been beaten to death on some EEEPC forum. No one's been able to do it.
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19654~r.43226827is this the same?
Here is the direct link to fido:http://www.fidohub.com/buy.php?no=77Conics sells them too:http://conics.net/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=touchscreen+kit&x=0&y=0
is it the same procedure for asus eee pc 1000h?
JKK I have heard that the touchscreens make the screen dimmer and more blurry. Have you noticed this to any great extent? I have also seen some people peeling off the anti glare coating, to me this looks a bit risky and dangerous, but i would be willing to attempt it if I could find some reliable testimonials. Thanks for any input!!
propylene22,Yes, touch pane dims the screen a bit, about 10%.I have not find it worth the risk to peel of the anti glare film.I compensate it with eeectl. Eeectl can make brightness a lot higher than original.
will the webcam work after the instalation?i will use the power of the webcam to the touchscreen...and where can i find a photo tutorial?thanks and sorry 4 my english...
A phototutorial would be super great! I couldnt find that.
I've found a phototutorial at the fidohub.com-website. Just click on the installation guide link in the productdetail. i.e. 1000/1000he = www.fidohub.com/product.php?prod_id=54
I have a hoda TS coming and am anxious to install it. A couple questions:1. I read in a different thread that this mod may provide multi-touch; http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t-218872 Anyone have any experience with that?2. I thought that I have seen somewhere in XP where you can enable Tablet profile. Is that desirable and if so, how do you do it?
Is it possible to install the touchscreen to something other than the webcam port?
SOMEONE HAD INSTALLED 3G HSDPA ON 1000HE??? PLEASE ANSWERANSWER I SAID
Where can I get the software to calibrate the touch screen?

Youtube displays: "This video is not available in your country due to copyright restriction." Does anybody know the reason? I live in Switzerland.
Wow that touch screen mod looks really great! Do you think it's possible to do this to a 1008ha too? I've got one but maybe the screen is to thin so there maybe isn't enough space?Cheers!
Hi!I want to do the same with my 1101HA, but I don't find a touch screen with that size (11.6") in no place!Does anyone know where I can get one?Can I try it with a 12" model?Apart from that, does anyone know where I can get tablet PC or touch screen netbooks cases?Once I convert my 1101 with the touch screen, I want a case that permits the screen to pivot. Thanks a lot!
