Key Features
• 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB capacity
• ATA UDMA4 support
• ZIF connector or Mini PCIe form factor
• Weight
— ZIF connector: approximately 11 grams
— Mini PCIe form factor: approximately 8 grams
• 1.65 mW idle power (TYP)
• 314 mW active power (TYP)
• Uses Intel MLC NAND Flash Memory
• Sequential read: 38 MB/s
• Sequential write: 10 MB/s

• Footprint
— ZIF connector: 38 mm (L) x 54 mm (W) x 3.2 mm (H)
— Mini PCIe form factor: 50.95 mm (L) x 30 mm (W) x 3.8 mm (H)

The ZIF version is currently used on Acer Aspire One, so we know how "good" that is..

If I compare the speeds to similar SSDs on Eee 901, Intel loses badly on write speeds...

It's garbage.

Well, with that poor performance, they'll need to be really cheap. The MyDigitalSSD 40/20 get my vote for performance vs cost...

I hope this is not the '250MB/75MB' drive we've been waiting for..

It is not, but Intel's supposed to release newer SSD drives that will perform way better in 1.8, and 2.5" . I don't remember about 3,5".
