I think I will pass on the xpPhone. Just to big for a phone and for a MID its just to thick.

Its great, a bit chunky and heavy no doubt but a snap purchase for me.

Its a phone OS that can last all day (made by them), a UMPC OS that can handle desktop functions and it fits in your pocket. Its a slider (a rarity in UMPCs).

I have many phones and UMPCs such as a 3g Viliv which can not replicate this.

Also there is something called a bluetooth headset

Still dont get it.

Anyway, the d-pad look interesting for some retro gaming.

When is out?

Very nice MID/UMPC - cool that it works as a phone - but that thing had better support BlueTooth headsets - cause there's no way I'm walking around with a brick like that next to my head!

I thought this thing was a revival of the much amiable OQO.

Yeah it supports bluetooth headsets. And a call can wake up the phone from standby mode. 5-7hrs battery life and 5 days standby time with standard battery. Over 10hrs with extended battery. Source: xpphone.com

Not sure why ITG is not bringing higher specs XPPHONEs, just checked its Chinese website, and looks like they added some online resellers (based in China)...
With so many smartphones coming this year...like the iphone 4g, android-based ones, etc, etc...how can ITG compete in this arena where well-known brands are already trying their best? ITG doesn't have the marketing budget like Apple, HTC, or Motorola...so unless ITG can differentiate its product, which gets reviewed by well known websites like this one, and offer better specs units, then I believe they already missed the boat...even though I like the XPPHONE, but ITG's timing (announced last year, and never had a real consumer product until recently) and low spec units are a total miss...! *sigh*....even the Chinese pdf user manual on ITG's website hints at a Geode cpu...
iphone 4g, wait for me!!!!!
