There is 4GB soldered to motherboard and 8GB / 16GB on pcie slot. 8GB for xp and 16GB on Linux versions.

The 4GB part is the master so OS is installed on that...
..I'd rather get only 8GB / 16GB than 4GB for os and separate for files...

This will make problems for non tech users..

Let's see where this is going.. and hope there is something good on this setup.

UPDATE: looks like the 4GB internal SSD has been upgraded to 40MB/s !

Some highlights:

You can set the cpu speed to either 630Mhz for better battery life or 900Mhz for better performance

New 4 cell battery is 5800mAh giving 2.8 to 3.5 hours

Ram is easily swappable

SSD is on second pcie slot, also swappable.

Exact size is 225mm x 170mm x 20-33.8mm

It is small. It is 30 mm wider than Eee but still very small



That 6 cell battery looks a bit wierd for me, but it is a good thing to have an option for better battery life. Xavier told he was getting some 4.5 hours with it.


Ram and HD are under the keyboard, easily upgradable.

MID-150 is the one without the keyboard and MID-200 is with the keybard.. Guess which one i like more..

Dynamism, Newegg and others have it now in stock, but there is some bad news:

The black version comes with 4400mAh battery, so the battery life will be about 2.5 hours with it.

White one ships with the original 5200mAh battery, both have 1GB RAM and Linux.

It's not available from Samsung with HSDPA, but it's "a simple process" to upgrade yourself...
