I just hope the battery life is reasonable

Nice! We're almost getting there.

My concerns:
Battery life is disappointing.

Without video in/out, this device would be useless for me.

There's no back 3mp cam.

what's the SAR Rating for phone?

and the size of it as JKK pointed out is a little too big for a phone, but still, with a bluetooth headset that shouldn't matter much.

sorry for the double post, but there are three things I forgot to mention:

The fact that the usb input is on top is excellent because I'm thinking of the wimax usb dongle, and for health reasons I need it to be away from my fingers when I'm typing so having it on top behind the screen is excellent.

The screen didn't look bright enough for me, so I hope it's just the video, and I wonder why they're not using LTPS TFTs, which are brighter and more vivid.

Also the screen sliding and tilting is such a winner, I wish every company would follow.

15cm keyboard - i'm afraid it will have the same problem as the Viliv S7 - it too wide for thumbing and too small for typing

i havent tried yet to thumb on such keyboard, but my big finger is 6,5 cm, so i think its comfortable up to 13 cm and every cm over it would be a problem, im afraid((

They have really interesting features there. I like the form factor, agree with jkk maybe a bit too big. The touch pad also a good feature that manufacturers should consider more on devices like this.

About the rest of the specs for what we can see from what they released at Computex, it's a bit vague on some points that can make a difference.

The 512mb of ram, its a bit on the limit these days specially on devices with the z series processor. Either they optimize the drivers soon or at least 1gb will necessary to run things smooth without much trouble.

Screen resolution is a no go for me.

Again the real question here is, will this device will ever be real, will ever reach the markets? It's a real shame that sometimes interesting stuff shows up at shows like computex but for one reason or another they never get to see the light of day. But... I guess it's normal, not easy!

Whats the battery life?

Resolution is right for me, trying to read 1024 text on a tiny screen is a headache. I can squeeze the Viliv S5 into my pocket so this may be a go. Would love the keyboard. How do you get an incoming call on Windows XP?
