Stantun multitouch Slate PC hands-on

Looking really good!

This tablet is made from Dell mini for testing so it's a tech showcase not a real product. ( you can buy it for 990 ruros )

Note that the screen is resistive and Stantum is listing pile of good reasons to use resistive tech.. one thing they forget thou.. capasitive is far better for durability.. I have plenty of scratches on many of my resistive screens...

I need one in 8.9" size. Perhaps it could be possible do source a T91MT panel for my 901 Go though... but compatibility would be a total unknown.

10 point touch? I thought the Touchpark supported unlimited point touch.

Could this use the Pixel Qi screens and keep multi touch. It is looking good but man that price!

Sure it could have Pixel Qi with mt...

.. guess whats my plan ;)

I thought the reason why Pixel Qi can't use MT overlays was because the refraction between the two would make the screen reflect light completely?

It wouldn't be too much of a hindrance, though you have capacitive "pen" like Dagi capacitive stylus(not something perfect but seems usable).

Piqel Qi can use MT or ST panels.. they just say it's not as good anymore... but if you want touch you are ok with "not as good "
