Ugh I am stuck between this & the Gigabyte m912x...

The lack of removable battery is worrying me & I'd like to slide an SSD in there.

:(

Is it an prototipe or pre-production model?
Why? Because 16Gbs SSd... it is not enough... for nothing... and will be imposible to run Windows 7 on it.
Did i read bad or only weight 0.9 Kgs?

im shocked it's actually smaller than the 900, usually the "convertible version" of an laptop is always bigger, heavier, & has shorter battery life.

i think this goes to show that Asus R&D has come a LONG way in just a couple years. imagine what they could do with a modern day 900.

Could you ask the ASUS reps about a release date? I have seriously followed this tablet since CES and I would be very interested as to when I could order one for delivery in the states.

Can't wait to read about more CeBit Coverage! I love jkkmobile - you guys went straight to the device I'm most excited about :)

the gigabyte m912x and fujitsu p16x0 series have resolutions of 1280x768, both with 8.9 inch screens.
netbooks need to step forward from the standard 1024x600 resolution.

This reminds me of my Fujitsu p1610 that I used to have. It's amazing how prices have changed on these tiny little things!

Does this one have num lock and caps lock keys?
